The Rotary Club of Henley Bridge is a local group which meets regularly with the aim of fun, friendship and to plan and organise projects that will be of benefit to those in need in the UK and around the world. Many projects are carried out locally, for example the Henley Half Marathon and 10K Run and the annual Sue Ryder Home Hallowe'en Night, Bonfire and Fireworks Display.
We also contribute to Rotary initiatives including the eradication of Polio throughout the world and the provision of Rotary Shelter Boxes and Aquaboxes. These boxes and their contents of tents and other essential equipment are vital in supporting life in the aftermath of disasters such as earthquakes where people's homes and the local infrastructure have been destroyed.
The Club is always looking for potential members who are like-minded in their objectives and invites those interested in joining the Rotary movement to come and sample Rotary life at one or more of our meetings. Simply contact one of the club officers mentioned in our Home Page. The Club meets at Badgemore Park Golf Club each Wednesday evening where we enjoy a two course dinner and coffee starting at 7:30 pm.
If you wish to join please email President Peter Wilkinson pjwilk46@aol.com

The club agreed to support Dr J McWhirter, a recently retired GP, in a 6 week period at the Kamuli Hospital in Uganda. This was funded by an appeal set up by Jim, and numerous Rotary Clubs and individuals have responded to his appeal.
This is truly a way of ensuring that your African charity giving goes straight to a deserving cause.
